Walk Notts aims to inspire, support and enable people to walk and wheel on an everyday basis.
In celebration of National Walking Month in May 2026 we are holding a Walk Notts Festival to highlight the amazing work already happening around walking and wheeling across Nottinghamshire; and to encourage more people and groups to get involved by hosting a new walk or walking/wheeling initiative.
The Walk Notts Festival Enabling Grant allows voluntary and community sector groups to apply for funding of up to £100 to support walking and wheeling activities in May if they align with the key ambition of Walk Notts. The Grant could be used for:
a. Refreshments
b. Additional room hire, transport or equipment to allow activities to take place.
c. Basic training to help delivery
d. Promotional material
If you want to apply for one of these grants, please complete the form below by Friday 17 April 2026. Please note there are a limited number of grants available and we anticipate demand exceeding supply.
