The data above is pointing to lower then expected walking participation among people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire with 36% of people never walking and half of the people in Notts walking infrequently (once or twice a week):
- Younger adults (16-34)
- People in lower socio-economic groups (People struggling financially))
- People with limiting illnesses/health conditions/disabilities
- Black and Asian communities (66% and 46% inactive respectively)
- Students and unemployed people
