We meet at Kilton Forest Golf Club every Thursday at 10:00. Each session we hold three walks, catering for most ages and abilities – a short walk up to one hour at a gentle pace over fairly level terrain, a longer walk of approximately three to three and a half miles and a final walk of up to six miles at a faster pace. All walks are led by trained Walk Leaders. After the walks, refreshments are on sale at the Club House. The walk routes are decided by the walk leaders and are dependent on weather, ground conditions and with the shorter walks, the ability of the walkers on the day.
Walking routes are usually on farm tracks and public paths around the Worksop area.
There are no requirements other than suitable footwear, and clothing to suit the weather.
