Nordic Walking is a Walking technique that doesn’t only exercise your legs, but also your upper body through the use of poles. This technique has been developed from the summer training used by Finnish cross country skiers in the 1930s to give a highly effective full body workout. Nordic Walking can be enjoyed by everyone and at many levels: at low, medium or high intensity. Its goal is to boost general physical and mental well being.

Main focus on my regular walks:

– cultivating an inclusive and welcoming group setting

– keeping prices affordable for all to join

– having fun together & being active

– teaching the correct technique

– connecting with nature

– creating an atmosphere where it’s casual to talk about mental health issues

– offering 3 walks a week for more flexibility as well as special walks for a change of scenery
