Join Lound Bird Club for a walk around Idle Valley Nature Reserve.
This will be our annual “Big Bird Day” – we’ll count how many bird species we see across the Idle Valley between us, throughout the day. This is a means of monitoring species numbers over the years. We’ll meet for our walk (9.00–12.00) at the Chainbridge Lane viewing point. And there will be one or two club members all day at the viewing screen. So please come and visit at any time throughout the day.
Our walks (maybe better described as strolls) last up to 3 hours and are taken at a gentle pace allowing us to enjoy seeing and hearing birds and the many other forms of wildlife that are there to be seen.
