Nottingham’s Wildlife Walks are a series of walk and talk events hosted by the Greenspace and Natural Environment team of Nottingham City Council, and aims to not only showcase the wonderful parks and nature reserves in the district, but give opportunities to socialise with like-minded people, get exercise, discover new places and immerse yourself in the urban wildlife.
WildlifeWalks are always free. If there is an independent cafe on site, or nearby, we would rather you show some support there.
Join us this time for a delightful stroll around Colwick Country Park, our biggest Nature Space in the City! This in-person event is perfect for nature lovers looking to unwind and connect with the urban wildlife, whilst enjoying the quiet of the countryside. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to boost your wellbeing while exploring the wonders of nature and learning about the rich heritage of Nottingham’s Parks!
Colwick Country Park is one of our accessible parks.
It can still get muddy so be sure to wear sturdy footwear!
Please meet at the River Road Entrance, by the kiosk What 3 Words///moth.fields.risk
Parking is free and there are excellent bus links, with a short walk to the park.
