As the clock ticks down until the opening of the new Riverside bridge, this is possibly your last chance to see the Riverside Bridge without the distraction of people using it. Once the bridge has been opened, opportunities such as this will be few and far between. Walk through Colwick Country Park, passing Colwick Hall and Colwick Racecourse to the Riverside Bridge. Return past the West Lake, the Marina, and the Holme Sluices fish pass. (Incidentally, there will be a walk when the bridge is open, giving you a chance to see the bridge “in use”)
